Print Quality Gates

Seal and Release
Porous prints absorb platinum silicone and fuse. Seal, then release. Never skip silicone-on-silicone release on two-part keys - registration keys.
Shrink and Scale
Platinum silicone shrinks on the order of ~0.1%. Scale the master or CAD so cavity volume hits fill weight after cure - tolerance and shrinkage.
When to Switch to CNC
High-gloss chocolate faces, optical flats, or thousands of identical reorders may justify CNC aluminum masters. Start printed for speed; graduate when DFM says so - DFM red flags.
