When a Printed Mold Still Fits
- One-off resin cast for a photo, not a sellable food SKU
- Cold pour, simple draft, no retail food claim
- You accept layer texture or will sand/coat heavily
If the print is only “to see the shape,” better: print a master, seal it, then pour silicone — same shop path we use for odd geometry.
When Custom Silicone Wins

Print as Master, Pour as Mold
Common RUUIPON path: buyer or we print/CNC a master → seal porous surfaces → platinum silicone production tray. You get silicone demold behavior with printed geometry freedom. Ask for that split on the RFQ so we do not quote “printed mold” when you meant “printed master.”
