Send mm (or Named Units): Inch STL Files That Quietly Scale Cavities

The earring was 18 mm in the listing and 457 mm in the STL because the file was inches and nobody wrote units. We will not cut that master and then argue about shipping a door-size tray. Units are an RFQ field.

25.4x Is a Units Bug, Not a Factory Upsell

We compare bounding box to your stated OD. If the box is 25.4x your listing, we stop. We do not "just scale it" without your written OK, because a jewelry bail scaled down with the body may go below a tearable island.

Export Settings That Save a Week

Export STL in mm. Put units in the filename: sku-earring-18mm.stl. If Fusion is set to inches, change it before export, do not "scale in the slicer" and send us the print file.
