A character arm is 1.4 mm at the wrist in the STL. It looks fine in Blender. On demold 2 the wrist stays in the tray. You ask for softer silicone. Softer can wrap the undercut harder. The fix is wall + draft or a split, not a Shore slogan.

The Arm That Stays in the Cavity
Send the STL with the tear circled. We measure the wrist. Options: thicken, add a fillet, add draft, or two-part the torso. You pick the look; we pick the tool that survives pour 20.
Softer Is Not Always Kinder
Soft trays peel well on texture and can collapse on tall thin pins. Firmer sheets stay flat and can tear an island if depth is wrong. We pick a band after the pour chemistry is named.
Wall mm We Want on the Drawing
Typical production walls for craft trays sit in a 2.5-5 mm talk band for the sheet. Character limbs are often thicker than the art file. Exact numbers after DFM, not a PO spec from this paragraph.
When We Split Instead of Thinning
If the pose is a locked undercut, a one-piece tool is the expensive path. Two-part costs more up front and saves the SKU. Process: manufacturing.

We can quote a risky tool. We will write the tear risk on the quote. We would rather you mark a thicker CAD.
Does MOQ change if we split the tool?
MOQ stays 20 of that design. Split is a construction choice, not a second MOQ by itself.
