Searchers type custom candy molds for three different jobs. A pectin bear, a tempered bar, and an isomalt lollipop can share a mascot outline and still need different Shore, jacket, and face. This URL is the split. It is not a second gummy product page and not a rewrite of the hard-candy cavity note.
RUUIPON pours the RTV cavity in Bao'an, Shenzhen, since 2018. Production MOQ is 20 pieces per design after the sample is approved. A prototype is usually 3-7 business days after CAD lock. DFM is free. Simple cavity CAD is about USD $50 when that scope applies.

Three candy dumps, three tools
Pick the tray that names your pour. Do not send "candy" alone.
Gummy / pectin / gelatin
Peel and piece weight. Not a hard-sugar well.

Chocolate
Temper and face gloss. Cooler dump than cooked sugar.
Hard candy / isomalt / lollipop
Heat and stick pull. Read the cavity note, then send the file.
Hot, acidic, or long-hold candy contact is a document question, not a catalog stamp. That path sits on acidic food and hot candy. Isomalt cavity detail stays on the hard-candy blog. Chocolate gloss stays on chocolate face finish.
When this candy page is the right door
Use this page when you have a branded sweet and you are not sure which product URL to open. If you already know it is pectin, go to gummy molds. If it is a bar or bonbon, go to chocolate molds.
We would not recommend this page for a steel depositor plate or a starch mogul line. Those are different objects. We would not recommend a next-day catalog heart tray if your logo and grams are the SKU.
What we check on a candy RFQ
- dump: pectin, gelatin, chocolate, isomalt, or other cooked sugar
- target grams or cavity volume
- stick, hole, or logo in the well
- pour temperature you actually run, not a guess
- first mold quantity (MOQ 20 per design after approval)
- destination market if you need food-contact documents
Photos, a sketch, or CAD are enough to start. After CAD lock we typically 3D-print a pattern, often flip a temporary silicone tool, cast a resin production mother, then pour batch RTV. The steps sit on services.
Worked example: logo lollipop vs pectin bear
Typical shop path, not a named customer. One RFQ said "candy mold, 12-up, logo." The photo was a bear. The dump in the email was isomalt. We would not have quoted the pectin gummy tray. We locked CAD for a stick well and a hotter face, prototyped in the 3-7 day window after that lock, then released MOQ 20 after a cooked-sugar pull. A second RFQ with the same outline and pectin went to the gummy product page instead.
FAQ
Do you make custom candy molds?
Yes, as RTV cavities you pour into. Production MOQ is 20 pieces per design after sample approval. The tray changes with the dump: pectin, chocolate, or cooked sugar are not one Shore and one face.
Is a gummy mold the same as a hard candy mold?
No. A pectin ear tears on peel. Cooked sugar can mark a face that a chocolate dump would leave alone. We would not recommend buying a gummy tray and running hard candy through it without saying so on the RFQ.
Are custom candy molds food-safe?
Food-contact jobs use platinum-cure rubber. Documents follow this compound, this color, and the destination market. This shop is not an FDA-approved factory. Name US retail, EU, or craft-only.
What is MOQ and prototype time?
MOQ 20 per design after approval. Prototype usually 3-7 business days after CAD lock. Simple cavity CAD is about USD $50 when that scope applies.
