RFQ Pack for a Two-Part Figurine RTV Mold | RUUIPON
Copy this figurine RFQ: seam faces, dump chemistry, keys, jacket, CAD lock. MOQ 20, $50 CAD when it applies. 3–7 days after lock. Typical shop.
To RFQ a two-part figurine RTV mold, send the object (STEP or a scaled sample), mark where a seam is forbidden, name the dump (resin, PU, plaster) and whether it is gravity or pressure, and say if you need a jacket. We run the RUUIPON Mold Structure Decision: if it is not a flat back, and undercuts will not peel, we split. Flash will live on that land unless you hide the seam. Prototype is 3–7 business days after CAD lock of the split. Production is MOQ 20 pieces per design. Simple 3D is USD $50 when that CAD scope applies.

RUUIPON pours figurine tools in Bao'an, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, since 2018. Mix is 1:1 or 10:1 by weight. Platinum shrink after a full cure is typically about 0.1–0.3%. LSR/HCR *parts* that *are* the figurine: wydsilicone.com. Product family: figurine molds.
Does not apply when the back is flat (open-back magnet), when you wanted a glove you peel in one piece, or when the dump is food chocolate of a character you do not own. Food still wants platinum. IP: your art, not a competitor scan.
Copy-pack fields that actually price a split
- Geometry: STEP in mm, or photos with a millimetre cube plus $50 CAD if that scope applies.
- Forbidden seam faces (cheeks, logo).
- Dump chemistry, peak °C, gravity vs pressure.
- Keys vs pins in a jacket.
- Keep the master or sacrificial print.
- Qty: proto, then MOQ 20 / design.

ISO 3302-1 M2 is a dump class. Flash is a land, not "zero like plastic."

Failure: RFQ said "no flash, one piece"
Symptom: we cannot peel the nose; buyer wanted no seam.
Cause: Structure Decision skipped.
Fix: hide the seam or accept a glove tear risk in writing.

RFQs we would not run first
We would not recommend a face-center split for flask convenience.
We would not recommend a competitor scan as the master.
We would not recommend tin for a food character.
We would not recommend skipping keys on a heavy PU dump.
A tooling charge is not unrestricted ownership of the split CAD.
Worked example: 120 mm mascot, photos, PU
PU mascot, 120 mm, photos plus caliper. $50 CAD, seam at hairline, jacket, keys. Prototype 3–7 business days after lock. Production MOQ 20 of that design. Related: sculptures, PU molds.
Pack keys so nubs do not kiss. A crushed key is offset on every later dump. Dummy or spacer. Invoice the goods as mold tools, not toys.
Rev on the jacket, not in a painted face well. Recasts follow the locked seam unless you pay to move it.
PU kills RTV faster than plaster. Budget recast life on the PO. We would not promise a universal dump.
If the figurine is hollow, add a core RFQ — wall mm and pull path. A glove around a closed sphere is a tear.
Prototype 3–7 business days after CAD lock. MOQ 20 per design. Mix 1:1 or 10:1. Shrink about 0.1–0.3%. USD $50 CAD when that scope applies. ISO 3302-1 M2 as a common dump class. Food chocolate characters still platinum, still your art. Steel/LSR parts: wydsilicone.com.
Pressure-cast resin needs a land that stays closed. Gravity pours can use a wider land. Name the process. Vacuum-casting the dump is not vacuum-degassing the rubber — two pots.
A 20 g slug still belongs if the master is SLA. Inhibition on a portrait face is a recast, not a "more hours" note.
We would not raise Shore to hide a bad seam. Move the split. Paint is not a flash strategy on a hero render.
If you already have a PC or steel figurine tool, this RTQ is still RTV. Do not mix objects on one line.
CAD lock includes millimetres, seam, keys, jacket, rev on the jacket. 3–7 business days after that. MOQ 20 per design. USD $50 CAD when that scope applies. Mix 1:1 or 10:1. Platinum shrink about 0.1–0.3%. Loaded sag about 0.5–1.5 mm without a jacket. ISO 3302-1 M2 as a common dump class. [email protected], +86 135 3006 2969, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, Bao'an, since 2018.
Summer shops split cups. Winter shops warm kits. Neither changes the RFQ fields above. Customs: describe as mold tools, not toys. Pack: keys must not kiss. Food path only if this is actually a chocolate character in your art, platinum, 177.2600 on this article, tin refused. Core if hollow. Open-back if the back is actually flat — then you are on the magnet page, not this split RFQ. Attach the copy-pack in the first email. A three-field web form is not this page. We quote from the pack. Tooling charge is not unrestricted ownership of the split or the jacket unless the PO says so. Recasts of the same locked CAD drop NRE when nothing changed. A moved seam is a new lock and a new 3–7 business day clock. Stamp Rev on the jacket when you move it. Photograph keys at pack-out. A closed carton is not a key photo. Use a dummy in the cavity if it will not inhibit a later recast. Use foam in the registration key wells otherwise, then ship.
Mix-up: figurine mold means a one-piece glove always
Gloves tear on honest undercuts. The other mix-up is quoting an LSR toy part as this RTV split.
What to ask when you're buying the split
- Forbidden seam faces?
- Dump and pressure?
- Jacket?
- Who keeps the master and the jacket?
- After CAD lock, 3–7 business days, then MOQ 20 / design?
Related: contact, RFQ checklist, one-piece vs split.
