RFQ Pack for an Abrasive Concrete Paver Mold | RUUIPON

To RFQ a concrete paver RTV mold, name the dump as abrasive concrete (not a candy tray), give paver size and thickness, say whether the face is CAD-smooth or a captured stone grain, and expect a jacket or mother mold on a large wet pour. Concrete is heavy and sharp. A floppy 10A sheet without a jacket will sag — typically about 0.5–1.5 mm at an unsupported edge — and the paver will dish. Prototype is 3–7 business days after CAD lock. Production is MOQ 20 pieces per design. Simple 3D is USD $50 when that CAD scope applies.

RUUIPON pours paver tools in Bao'an, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, since 2018. Mix is 1:1 or 10:1 by weight. Platinum shrink after a full cure is typically about 0.1–0.3%. Product: concrete molds. Steel/LSR *parts*: wydsilicone.com.

Does not apply when you wanted a plaster figurine, a chocolate bar, or a finished silicone paver *part*. Food platinum rules do not make concrete "FDA." Tin can be a named craft choice here; still not a food PDF.

Abrasive, buoyancy, and grain

Concrete wears RTV. Budget recast. A textured slate face is a scan-plus-CAD-back job. A logo in the paver is millimetres, not a PNG. The RUUIPON Mold Structure Decision: large wet casting → mother mold. Open-back if the back is the pour face. Split if the paver has undercuts that will not peel.

The photo that would prove a paver RFQ: millimetre stick on a sample paver, grain close-up, flask sketch. A patio lifestyle shot is not thickness.

ISO 3302-1 M2 is dump class. It does not stop abrasion.

Failure: dished paver, torn grain, no jacket

Symptom: first pours crown; grain tears.

Cause: unsupported 10A; zero draft on stone locks; dump too early (green rubber).

Fix: jacket, draft the master, full cure before abrasive dump.

RFQs we would not run first

We would not recommend a candy-tray Shore on a 400 mm wet paver without a jacket.

We would not recommend a competitor tile scan as your art.

We would not recommend dumping abrasive at peel.

We would not recommend a food PDF on a concrete tool.

A tooling charge is not a lifetime of recasts. Buy recast terms.

Worked example: 300 mm slate face, photos

Paver 300 mm, slate photos, no thickness. $50 CAD, open-back plus jacket, platinum ~30A, full cure before dump. Prototype 3–7 business days after lock. Production MOQ 20 of that design. Related: concrete cement.

Cores on hollow planters are a cousin RFQ: wall mm, buoyancy, pull path. A paver is usually open-back. Do not order a core you do not need.

Customs: mold tools, not garden tiles. Pack large skins flat, never folded. Keys if split. Dummy or spacer.

Grain from a real slate: scan the face, CAD the back, millimetre cube. Glossy wet stone spikes — scan dry.

Tin may be named for craft concrete. Do not borrow a chocolate 177.2600 PDF. Food cabinets stay off this dump.

Summer: split large shots. Heel: weigh the cup. Scale d=0.1 g if 10:1 and B is small.

Prototype 3–7 business days after CAD lock. MOQ 20 per design. Mix 1:1 or 10:1. Shrink about 0.1–0.3%. USD $50 CAD when that scope applies. ISO 3302-1 M2 as a common dump class. Invoice as mold tools, not patio tiles. Pack skins flat. Photograph the jacket rev at pack-out. A folded paver skin is a rejected tool — same rule as a gummy sheet, heavier consequence. Full cure before first abrasive dump; peel is not first dump. Winter thick mix and summer short pot life still apply to the pour, not to the RFQ fields. Send wet mass if you have it so we size the jacket, not so we guess rubber grams from dump kilograms. Dump kg is not tool kg. Heel still counts in the cup. Split large summer shots. Dedicated cups if this shop also pours food — cabinet split. We would not mix concrete and chocolate tools in the same mixing pail. Keep two benches. Label both the cups and the stir sticks. Rev on the jacket. Shop since 2018, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, Bao'an. [email protected], +86 135 3006 2969.

We would not raise Shore first to fight sag. Jacket first. Draft the master so the rubber peels the stone locks. Release spray is not draft.

A 400 mm skin in 10A without a jacket is a hammock. Wet concrete finds the dish. We would not "add ribs in CAD" as a surprise substitute for a mother mold unless you lock those ribs as dump features.

If the paver has a logo, min-feature millimetres apply. A 0.2 mm letter in abrasive concrete vanishes and holds grit. Cut letters you can wash.

Color in the rubber is not a stamped paver color. Pigment the dump. In-tool pigment plus abrasion is a bleed conversation you do not need.

Humidity on a wood original changes grain size. Seal or send stone.

If you also pour plaster in the same tool, say so. Plaster is gentler; the jacket still helps. Do not assume a plaster SOP covers concrete.

CAD lock includes size, thickness, grain keep-list, jacket, recast. 3–7 business days after that. MOQ 20 per design. USD $50 CAD when that scope applies. Mix 1:1 or 10:1. Platinum shrink about 0.1–0.3%. Loaded sag about 0.5–1.5 mm without jacket. ISO 3302-1 M2 as a common dump class.

Mix-up: paver mold is the same as a gummy tray, bigger

Mass and abrasion change the tool family. The other mix-up is a plaster pour quoted as concrete.

What to ask when you're buying a paver tool

  • Size, thickness, wet mass?
  • Grain keep vs smooth logo?
  • Jacket / mother mold?
  • Recast plan?
  • After CAD lock, 3–7 business days, then MOQ 20 / design?

FAQ

What do I send to quote a concrete paver mold? Size, thickness, grain or CAD, jacket, qty. MOQ 20 per design.

Do I need a mother mold? On a large wet pour, usually yes.

Can I dump at demold? Abrasive dumps want full cure. Do not peel-and-pour.

Will platinum last forever in concrete? No. Budget recast. PU is even harder on RTV.

When does 3–7 days start? At CAD lock. $50 CAD when that scope applies.
