The carton holds a silicone *mold* — a tool you pour into — not a toy, not gummies, not chocolate, not a finished spatula. If the commercial invoice says "silicone candy" because the cavity is bear-shaped, you invite a classification fight, a food-import exam, or a toy-safety question that does not apply to an empty tray. We describe the goods as custom RTV silicone molds / mold tools. We will not invent an HS code on this page. Your forwarder and broker confirm the code for your route. RUUIPON ships from Bao'an, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, since 2018. Prototype is 3–7 business days after CAD lock. Production is MOQ 20 pieces per design. Simple 3D is USD $50 when that CAD scope applies. Platinum shrink after a full cure is typically about 0.1–0.3%. Mix 1:1 or 10:1. Steel/LSR *parts*: wydsilicone.com. Name EXW, FOB, or DDP — different commercial objects.
Does not apply when you are importing finished silicone *parts* (teethers, spatulas). Those are not this carton and not this factory's object. It also does not apply to a dummy chocolate left in a cavity as a pack insert — declare the dummy if it is there.
Invoice nouns that keep the exam on the tool
Write: custom silicone rubber molds for [resin / chocolate / gummy depositing / concrete], empty, not for retail as toys. Do not write: gummy bears, chocolate bombs, action figures, baby products. The cavity shape is not the article. The article is the mold.
If a dummy cast rides along to protect keys, list it: "plastic dummy insert for mold support, not for sale." A food dummy you will wash out is still a listed insert.

ISO 3302-1 M2 is a drawing class. It is not a customs heading. CAD lock is not a COO story.
Failure: toy exam on a figurine mold
Symptom: shipment held as toys; buyer sent photos of painted resin figures as "the product."
Cause: invoice copied the dump SKU name.
Confirm: open-box photos of empty rubber vs finished goods.
Fix: correct the description. Recast if the delay cooked keys in a hot container — pack keys.
We would not put "FDA approved silicone candies" on a mold CI. We are not an FDA-approved factory. 177.2600 is extraction of an article, not a customs slogan.

Worked example: 24-up bear tray invoiced as candy
Gummy tray, 24-up, CI said "silicone gummy bears." Exam as food/toy. Corrected to custom silicone depositing molds, empty. Prototype 3–7 business days had already run. $50 CAD had applied at lock. Production MOQ 20 of that design. Related: export pack, gummy molds.
Country of origin is the factory story, not a cavity shape. We pour in Bao'an since 2018. Do not relabel the carton as a US-origin tool because the CAD was done in California. $50 CAD when that scope applies is modeling, not origin.
If the buyer’s purchasing system only has SKU names like "bear gummy," keep that internally and still print "silicone mold tool" on the CI. Two databases. Brokers read the CI.
Wood flasks, plaster jackets, and plastic dummy inserts are separate lines if they are not rubber. A mixed carton of jackets plus skins is still molds and accessories, not toys. Ask the forwarder how they want accessories listed. We would not hide a steel prototype master under "samples" if it is a CNC block — name the master.
Loaded sag and Shore do not belong on the CI. They belong on the traveler. Keep the invoice boring. Boring clears.
A food-contact document pack is not a customs food filing. 177.2600 / LFGB PDFs ride in an email or a pouch marked documents, not as proof the carton is candy. Do not staple a platinum extraction letter to a CI that already says "gummy bears" — you just confirmed the wrong noun.
If WYD steel and RUUIPON rubber ever ship on one pallet, they are two objects: molds vs parts. Split the lines. We would not let a spatula HS swallow a tray line because purchasing wanted one SKU.
Photos for the broker: empty cavities, jacket, millimetre scale, no finished candy in frame. A marketing photo of poured gummies in the tray is how you earn an exam. Prototype 3–7 business days after CAD lock still applies to the rubber, not to the broker's clock. MOQ 20 per design. Mix-up: the mold is the same HS as the candy it makes
