Silicone molds for cheese and dairy: fatty contact, drain, and peel
A cheese or dairy mold is a food-contact RTV cavity that has to drain whey, survive fat, and peel a set curd without tearing a logo island. Don't copy a gummy tray and drill holes later. Drain pattern, hoop vs open-back, and whether the form sits in a nest belong in CAD. Fatty-food n-hexane extraction is the relevant US 21 CFR 177.2600 leg - not a factory stamp. RUUIPON pours platinum dairy tools in Bao'an since 2018: resin master to RTV casting mold. Prototype in 3-7 business days after CAD lock. MOQ 20 pcs/design. Name fresh cheese, aged hoop, butter, or portioned dairy dessert - they don't share Shore or drain. Related: food-grade, mousse, buyer spec.

Drain, hoop, and wet mass
Send dairy type, filled wet mass or portion grams, whether whey must escape (holes, slits, or a basket pattern), logo, and wash chemistry. A 400 g fresh cheese in an unsupported 10A skin balloons. Loaded sag without a jacket is about 0.5-1.5 mm. Holes that are too small clog; holes that undercut the wall tear on demold.
Brine, acid, and fat attack a compound over cycles. Name them. Don't reuse a soap or resin skin.
Logo and face
A recessed brand on a cheese face has to drain and wash. Deep serifs trap curd. Draft the mark - logo molds.
When this dairy advice does not apply
Industrial cheese vats and stainless hoops are not this page. Ice and chocolate have their own slugs. LSR dairy *parts* (seals, not cavities) → an HTV product RFQ here. A one-off tasting form can skip multi-cavity. Geometry can override quantity: a locked hoop still needs a split.
If you only have photos, custom 3D modeling is USD $50 when that scope applies.
Cheese/dairy RFQ to copy
- Process: platinum RTV food-contact dairy cavity
- Dairy type; portion grams or hoop size; wet mass
- Drain: holes / slits / none
- Fat, brine, acid, wash notes
- Jacket / nest yes/no
- Market; 177.2600 fatty-food / LFGB
- Custom 3D modeling: USD $50 when that scope applies
- Prototype with real curd or analog, then MOQ 20 pcs/design
Send dairy type, grams, and drain intent to contact ([email protected] / +86 135 3006 2969). Licheng Technology Industry Park, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, Baoan.
Matched CTA: Send dairy type, wet grams, and drain pattern for a hoop-and-jacket review - not a gummy-tray quote.
We would not recommend drilling drain holes after the RTV is poured
We would not recommend a generic food-grade PDF that skips fatty-food extraction. We would not skip a jacket on a kilogram hoop. We would not call 177.2600 a factory approval. We would not reuse a soap skin for cheese.
RUUIPON Mold Structure Decision: open-back hoop if draft peels and whey can leave. Locked form? split. Wet kilograms? mother mold.

FAQ
Can you copy a plastic ricotta basket? We can copy geometry and drain pattern from a scan or measurements. Freeze hole size in CAD, not after pour.
Is dairy "FDA-approved"? No factory stamp. 21 CFR 177.2600 is extraction of the finished rubber article. Fatty-food use should be named.
Will brine ruin the mold? Name the brine and wash. Cycle life is a recast conversation, not a slogan.
Do I need a prototype? For a new hoop or branded face, yes. 3-7 business days after CAD lock.
Can I use a gummy tray for butter portions? Only if volume, fat path, and handling match. Usually you want a dairy-specific cavity and docs.
