What Is a Custom Silicone Mold?
A custom mold is the cavity for your shape, your logo, and your piece weight. A catalog tray is the right buy when those three already match.

A custom silicone mold is a mold made to reproduce a customer-specific shape rather than a fixed catalog cavity.
In many casting applications, the mold itself is flexible silicone and is used to cast resin, wax, soap, plaster, chocolate, gummy, ice or another material.
The phrase can also create confusion: some buyers say “silicone mold” when they actually mean the rigid production tooling used to manufacture a finished silicone product.
Those are different objects.
